My wife did not go through vaccination process during her Medical examination due to her pregancy.

Do INS usually sends RFE under this circumtances?

I called the INS affiliated doctor(whom we had our Medical done) and he is saying that I should wait for the RFE first then they will take it from there BUT not before.

My concern is, do people really get RFE for not having appropriate vacciantions (I-693--waiver form)or INS simply let go !!

Please share your experience.

Thanks in advance.

If your wife was pregnant at the time of medical exam, the Doctor will give a waiver certificate citing the pregnancy as a reason. Generally, the INS obliges this and may not request for RFE. But it is better for you in the mean time to get her the vaccinations from "Travel Clinic" (Which are part of any major hospitals in USA). They will give her a record of vaccinations she had taken (a small passport sized sheet). We did that, but my wife did not get all the vaccinations because she is still nursing the baby. If RFE comes, then you can cite this and get an exemption. Stay Cool. The INS will oblige valid reasons..
