I did send the AR11 and I changed job after 180 days of filing AOS .

The only dilemma Is wether to call INS,Vermont and inform them???

If Yes :

Will they transfer the case to Nebraska center ( the current processing date is 04/01 I guess)

If NO:

What happens if I get a Interview call??or RFE

My case was similar to you. But I did not call VSC, just sent AR11 to both INS, DC and VSC. (and my case approved on Nov 1, 02).

Regarding transferring case... I think, its based on your employer address, your move will affect.

In my previous mail... it should read "your move will not affect". Sorry.

Appreciate some more info vbc,

How did you get your approval documents?
Was you Employer in the VSC ??area??

My new employer in pittsburgh so hopefully the are still in the VSC .I guess.

let me know ASAP

Thanks

SVSS,

I haven't get my approval notice yet, as my case approved only on November 1st.

Yes, my sponsored ex-employer in VA, VSC area. I joined other company situated in GA after 180 days of I485 filing. And moved to Chicago to client place.

I not sure, where am I going to get my approval notice, whether to INS Chicago or INS Arlington,VA. Anyway it does not matter to me. Wherever they call I will go there and get it stamped. If they ask I have delivery confirmation of AR11. so I think its ok...

Good luck.

In the past, INS required that the I-485 was filed in the Service Center that has the jurisdiction over the state where the applicant lives.
Somehow, this has changed.
Now, for employment-based and other similar cases, INS requires that I-485 be filed in the Service Center where the I-140 was filed and approved. This way they will have all papers in their hands.

If there is a transfer on your case, I think it will be a transfer to a local INS, not to another service center. Just my guess ....
