Should I call USCIS to check my status or wait?

Hello Friends:

I filed for I-485 based on approved I-140 (EB-1EA) in May 2007. I have already received EAD and AP (case details in signature). I have not seen any LUDs. The processing times for TSC are August 2006. Since my case is not in the processing time limit yet, is it ok to call TSC to inquire about my name check status yet or I should wait?

Also, can anyone tell me how to use POJ technique to reach a person who knows about my case? I read that people use POJ technique, but I dont know what this is? Another question, do they answer the phone on weekends too?

if you are closer to local CIS, make an infopass

I would suggest that you make a local CIS visit by an infopass appointment.

I got my name check status through them.

POJ:

1-800-375-5283
Then choose 1-2-2-6-1
then enter your receipt no
then 1-1
listen to msg
then 3-4
if you heard the msg " xxxxxx, welcome to TSC" then you are connected to TSC, otherwise a CSR will take you call, who can not tell you anything for your case detail. then just hang up and try again
