Had my interview on Wed 5/18/2011. IO said I would be recommended for approval for Naturalization and I should receive notice for the oath ceremony. I have had a GC since 1985 but in the country since 1974. Wife is USC, married for 30 years, five children all USC and adults.
In the interview, an arrest came up (no charges, no coviction) from 1976 I forgot about. I did not list it. No other legal issues other than two minor traffic tickets > 5 years ago.
Questions: What happens after interview? Can my application be denied? I am assuming my background check was completed since they had the arrest record.
