I did my fingerprints in Feb '05, and so far there is no update on my I-485 status indicating that they have received the FP's. My wife did her FP in Sep 04, and her status indicated that.

Is this common?

Do not worry

ab kya karun,

Emails or online status updates on receipt of FPs are not very common. Some cases get updated while others don't. I would not worry to much.

My experience : Me and husband did 2fps March 2005. Never got LUD or message change. I did get message change when USCIS received my response to RFE. That's it (more than 2 months ago) nothing more. As you can see, theres people getting LUDs and message changes others just sit and wait... I understand many ppl don't get message changes for FPs lately.
