My company is applying for my Green Card along with H1B process this month. I got a email from my professor last week asking me if i am interested in my PhD starting september fall 2005 (he has already sent letter to graduate college for my admission, I am also interested in starting my PhD). What happens to my immigration application if i change my status to F1 now. Will my green card application (I-485) be rejected if i change the status or it will continue to be processed inspite of my F1 status?
