Hello,

I know someone applying to study in a private school in US for a month.

If he provides all the accomodation and tution fees

Is that all that is needed as financial suppport to get the visa?

Assuming tuition as well as accomodation is prepaid.

Would they be still looking to get additional proof of money owned?

Please this is very urgent interview next week

he'll need to show that he can keep himself apart from accommodation, which should not be much for a month. and some documentation to show that he will be returning home as soon as his course is over. this is important. Proof of family ties, property, a job or a school to come back to. The financial stuff will most likely need to be in the form of an official bank letter with the amount, the dollar equivalent and signature, but depends on individual embassy.
