shoplifting case was dismissed, what will be consequence on green card and H1-B extension?
I do not have any past or current criminal background or convictions other than one from 2014, while on H1 B in 2013 I was arrested (spend 35 min ) & fingerprinted for shoplifting in Illinois, the charges related to shoplifting were dropped and the case were dropped after I did 50 hr community service and pay penalty by walmart. case is expunged also within 60 days.
Please let me know what problem I will face in my green card and how I can avoid them ?
