MY I-485 was approved on 7-9-2004 according to the e-mail message and online status and I was waiting for the written notice and today I was just checking online status again and it now says "your case processing has resumed…" and to my shock when I called the customer service number they say my case is currently being processed and it is taking 365-540 days!! They have no further info.

Does this happen often? I'm really shocked and all my celebrations proved little premature.
 
My nightmare is now over.
I got my approval notice in mail yesterday. The online message still says my case is being processed!!!!!

I-140 ND 04-01-2003 AD 07-07-2004
I-485 ND 04-01-2003 AD 07-09-2004

Can you please state when did you have your finger prints done?
 
I had my FP in april 2004
KARNS "Mera Bharat Mahan"
and if you dont understand that it means my INDIA is the greatest.
 
There were no LUDs on my I-140 until approval
(that is more than 15 months after ND)
My last update on I-485 is for renewal of my EAD in May 2004
 
Dont Beleive Online Status

I got my plastic card today, but my online message still says pending.

What was your EB catagory ?? EB2 or EB3 ?
