Hi all. I am still in the "dreaming about winning" stage, but I am also trying to start planning a move should I be lucky enough. I would really love to hear from those that made the move to the US. In particular I would like to hear from people who had no family or friends already in the US and have had to start fresh all on their own. Things like what you did for accommodation as soon as you got off the plane, finding a job - how long did it take, getting a bank account/credit cards, fitting in with your new community, choice of town to live in - All the small stuff is what I am really interested in.

Kakoom, I dont need you to tell me what I need to focus on thank you! I will ask what questions I need/want to ask whenever I want to ask them.
