then your message will change to "card ordered", then "card mailed". At least that is exactly what happened to me.

Quick question: I had given my new address while stamping my passport and I had seen her writing the new address on the I-551 form on which we gave our finger print. Just wondering, if you have heard of any issue anywhere about this . I mean... USCIS sending the plastics to the old address, even if you have given the correct address during passport stamping etc. etc.

Also, can I call the 1-800 number to verify which address they have mailed it to ?

Thanks a lot. Would i get anything in mail now? or some thing was sent to an other department?
Also, I have changed my address at the time of stamping. I also faxed the address change to CSC. Would there be any issues with this? I have also filed an AR-11. Should i do anything more?
Also, where did you get your PP stamped? SFO?

Card recieved for self on Sep 18th. But my wife didnt recieve hers, even though it was mailed a day before mine! Now I have to wait 14 days before I call. Changed address while stamping. I see that the card was despacthed from Laguna Niguel even though I stamped at NJ.
 
Done.

Finally received my card sometime between Sept 11 and Sept 23. I was away in Europe and when I got back it was in the mailbox. The saga ends, and the new one (citizenship) begins!

what number is used for plastic card track?

I have my pp stamped. What number do you guys use to track plastic card? The same number as your 485 or there is a new number?

Received Plastic Card for Spouse WAC021495XXXX

HI:

Recieved Plastic card for spouse yesterday.

The message changed THRICE on the following dates:

22nd Sept

23rd Sept

24th Sept

Stamped on SFO - August 17th
 
Over and done for us...

It took about 6 weeks (after the passport stamping in SF) for me to get the plastic card (primary applicant), an additional 2 weeks for my son, and an additional 2 weeks for my wife.

We are now done with this Green Card *$#)(*#$, after 2 years and a few months. It has not been easy, but compared to other fellow members, I think that our ride has been reasonably smooth (all things being considered).

I am now checking out of this forum. Needless to say that I am grateful to all the senior members and contributors involved in supporting and animating this invaluable resource.

Best of luck all all of you, may you guys be freed up soon.
