SF Transfer

Hi, folks. I'm new in this forum. I got this message:

On August 26, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent
Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA for processing.
Our office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA will send you a written decision as soon as
processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case
has been transferred to a local office.

It does not mention anything about interview. I would like to know if anyone of you got the same message, and if you got an interview notice or not. From reading the messages, most people were interviewed. Pls. reply.

Yeah -- you'll eventually be scheduled for an interview.....

Might take a few months depending on how SF is processing it .... it varies

Try seraching the transfer sub-forum.

BTW, why was ur case transferred ? Are you from a SR country or something like that
?
 
I believe it's because I used 245i. I'm also planning on using AC21 when and if I get interviewed. Thanks for replying.

I used 245i also, My I 485 has been pending since dec 2002.
i just finished my 2 nd fingerprint on Aug 6. Did u get an second finger print.
Please reply.

No, I'm still waiting for 2nd FP. I think I'm going to get an InfoPass and inquire about 2nd FP. Maybe going down there might trigger them to do something, maybe issue FP, send an interview notice, or just approve the case :rolleyes: . Will see.
