We interviewed in SF successfully almost 2 weeks back, both our interviews went well without any issues and were handed approved N-652, we still haven't received the oath letter yet, the ceremony at SF is on Dec 17th, I also do not see any changes in the online status for our applications?

Is it possible they can deny our petition after approval? are there any checks they conduct before sending out the oath letters? Any one with similar experience ..

Please advice.

Make an infopass and find out whats going on.

Realize that they have up to 120 days after interview to provide you an answer. In the mean time be patient and inquire via IO every 30 days or so until you get your oath letter.
 
Don't sweat it. You'll either make it to this ceremony or the next. I don't see any reason you should be so worried. It's just been 2 weeks since interview.
 
The reason what may be causing the delay is, during the interview I requested the officer that both of us be scheduled for the Oath ceremony at the same time, date and place. The IO took a sticky note to put on my application about the scheduling with my spouse, she said she would to talk to the other IO who interviewed my spouse to schedule both at the same time.

Probably all this is causing the delay I guess ...I don't know...
