I-864 question:
My wife is currently only working part time because shes a full time student, Do I have to use her as my Affidavit of Support? This is her first year shes gonna be doing taxes also, so there isn't any documentation to prove her income(tax returns, w2's, etc).

I-130 Question:
Question 14 has a box that asks how the alien arrived, and says I-94 and a place to put in the number, the question is I don't have an I-94 my visitor visa says I-186/I-586, so im a little confused on what to put on the box. Im currently in the US. Should I leave it blank?

I-756 Question:
Question 15 asks Current Immigration Status, My visa is expired from along time ago, should I put Expired Visa, Illegal, Undocumented?

Also on I-756 in Eligibility Categories, I cannot figure out which one to use. Im an undocumented immigrant, came her with a visitor visa, and im trying to receive a green card thru sponsorship from my wife.

ok sorry for all the questions, but obviously dont wana make an error in my application. Thanks!

Yes. She must file I-864. If you and her don't make the minimum $$, you'll need to find a joint sponsor in addition to her.

It seems from google that I-586 is an old type of border crossing card. The requirement of spouse GC is that you entered legally, and I-94 is the current way of proving it. Did you enter legally (using your way back when visa)? If so, was there any type of USCIS stamp showing that you did? That would be what you would show in lieu of the I-94.

I-765 category is C-9, which is adjustment applicant.

Thank you, and yes I did enter legally. It has USCIS stamp on both the permit they gave me and my passport. Both also have The date issued and expiration date, and the permit has a set of numbers similar to that of the I-94.

Ok can someone help me, what Form am I suppose to include a copy of my I-186/I-586 (substitute for I-94)? From what I read on the instructions of each form none seem to ask for it, perhaps I missed it?

USCIS wouldn't bother writing the instructions for documents that they haven't issued in decades.

My suggestion is to write "see attachment #1" in the I-94 spot.

Then write a letter and title it "attachment #1", and explain how you entered legally using a predecessor to the I-94 and submit a copy of the I-186/I-586 wherever it asks for an I-94.
