i see lots of posts are answered by few fellow members without having correct knwoledge on the issue..

request --better stay away from it...

COZ -- IN RETURN GIVING A MIS-GUIDANCE TO THE PERSON WHO NEEDED ANSWER FOR SURE...

IN OTHER WAY..BY ANSWERING WRONG WE ARE CONFUSING THAT PERSON AS WELL...

IN SHORT --DISCUSSIONS WORTH IT...NOT THE ANSWERS TO A SPECIFIC QUESTION THOUGH...else we are changing meaning of the thread

Hope we all flow thru..sincerely....whatever we know...

what's ur. problem...

This forum is to express your opinions and views about the problems others are facing. People here very clearly say that for expert advise, consult ur. lawyer....

I guess I am OK with others expressing their opinion even if it just based on their experience or knowledge aquired somehow through a hearsay...

If you are uncomfortable to read others views/opinions you may just ignore them.

I don't see mentioning that...for eg: I see a AP case having H1(post following today itself) someone said directly STATUS is LOST
(http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=121190)similarly, Other case gets denial ..
VIEWS AND OPINIONS ARE OK TO EVERYONE IF THE THREAD IS ABOUT A DISCUSSION, BUT IF SOME ONE STARTED THREAD ASKING A QUESTION TO KNOW FOR SURE, GIIVNG MIS-GUIDANCE IS WRONG WHAT I MEAN...

--------------I guess I am OK with others expressing their opinion even if it just based on their experience or knowledge aquired somehow through a hearsay...----------------

SOMEONE opinion basing experience or obtaining knwoledge thru some means is fine....BUT NOT AN OPINION..FOR A QUESTION ASKED..

If you are uncomfortable to read others views/opinions you may just ignore them.....

I see..

If the so called reputed attorneys cannot guide an individual, how can one expect an expert opinion on this forum. Everyone here is like yourself who are trying probe and make some sense.

If you are irritated with my response regarding civil engineering not equivalent to computer science, just wait for couple of weeks I can give a definite answer based on my case. It is exactly same as yours. In addition, there is so much inconsistency in processing...one person may not be RFEd eventhough they have identical case.

So take it easy.

Always a disclaimer is there at the bottom 'based on my individual experience'.

If I knew the USCIS laws thoroughly I wouldn't be standing in the I140 line, instead I would be charging atleast $250 per hour for consultation.

I think you really need to understand the general need for having forums. I don't think the goal is to replace a lawyer (or a immigration expert) but rather share and discuss issues related to immigration.

You should NOT base decisions on what you see here this is like another form of input. All of us have lawyers working on our case but we still come to these forums the reason is just to see what issues other people are facing, current processing status (in fact this is best thing that this forum does not based on service center processing times which for most part really give a general sense) and get second or maybe a third opinion on your current situation.

I think if not all I would say a a very high percentage of people give answers based on either real facts, experiences and things that they came to know through their friends or lawyers. Now that doesn't mean that these things are always correct this is free advice take it or ignore it.

Okay i couldn't resist myself of posting my take on it. First of all this portal is all about learning from others experience and finding information through others that increase your knowledge regarding this slow, painful and often unclear process.

Nbasseti, first of all if you are here seeking an expert/lawyer view then this isn't the place to even post, go pay the lawyer fees and have it all answered. Instead of apreciating the fact that others are spending time to write a post you are bashing them. If you are willing to post your question then also be prepared that answers may not be what is pleasing to you. There are unfortunate and fortunate cases on this forum, some get lucky and some dont and others try to help and not to put u down.

My 2 cents, this information is free to you, take it or leave it, and you have no right to complain and bash anyone on this forum. Nobody here is suggesting that you should follow their advice and majority of them will say go talk to your lawyer. So please quit this and be mature

Mr. NB SHETTY,

If you expect experts who are selling their time for 200$ per hour, come here and answer your questions for free, you must be insane. People come here are as confused as you are and are trying to make sense of this green card processing.

take it easy and find a good lawer(Rajiv s khanna or somebody else), to make sure you get authoritative answer for what ever your question is.
