I tried calling the Texas Work Force to find out what date they are currently processing for RIR. But,she refused to give me the date.she said that she can give the information only to the Attorney or the Employer. Is that true?

I tried calling the Texas Work Force to find out what date they are currently processing for RIR. But, she refused to give me the date. She said that she can give it only to my Attorney or the Employer. Is that true?
If you know of any other way of finding out, please help me out.
