My I-485 application was recently (December 29) denied for non appearance for interview. the thing is that I never received a notice to appear. I went for biometrics in August, got work auth. card on Dec. 30, and received Soc. Sec. card in January. I went to Uscis to ask about denial and file a letter requesting "service of motion to reopen" as per supervisor's advice. what should I expect? How long will this take? Will I be deported? My husband is US citizen and we've been married for many many years. Please advise

No, I did not change address and have received all previous mail from USCIS without problems, including the denial letter.
