Folks who are interested...

I had initiated a service enquiry @NSC for my case on June 1st and received a mail yesterday.

It basically says that my case is waiting for assignment to an officer. A decision/action will be made in 10-12 weeks.

Note: I have been thru this system long enough to know how much weightage should be given to this....

At least the response says that its waiting for assignment to an officer instead of background check or FBI finger printing or NC is pending. This means that all the checks are done... :) If not the response would have said stated that.So you should be happy that you are in line for approval ATLEAST 10-12 weeks from now (provided the visa numbers are still available...)

I am with KSNEEL123 on this. JMJ, you should be happy that you in a safe boat while some of our friends are afflicted by the formidable NC where years pass by.

Thanks

Numb !!

I agree with you guys hichinnari & ksneel123,but I wish USCIS is more transparent and forthcoming in their processing ethics(if they have one)
I'm sure many here would not have entered this endless nightmare process of GC, had they known it will be such a shitty, messed up, no oversight, worse than third-world immigration system in place. To be frank, I'm close to being numb to the various responses and gimmicks thrown around by USCIS. Good Luck everyone!!

hey another good thing is that they replied within 2 weeks. I opened a request last week. Lets see what happens with that. I was told they shall reply by mid july

Service request

JMJ or anybody,

How do you open a service request with NSC and how is it different from Infopass?

Thanks
