As per USCIS web site our county comes under St Paul MN, where as for our FP we have been directed to Milwaukee service center. which is farther than St Paul by 60 miles one way.(total one way to USCIS St Paul is 158 miles).

Was this a mistake or they do FP there only for wisconsin residents?
About Interview will it be again Milwaukee or St Paul MN?

Anybody in this form had this kind of confusion?

Sometimes USCIS schedules FP at a different office from the one that has formal jurisdiction over the applicant's place of residence.
Not sure why they do this, maybe they are trying to spread the workload around and alleviate some bottlenecks or something.
However, the interview does always take place at the field office responsible for the applicant's place of residence - this is a legal requirement. The FP is done well before the case is transferred from NBC to a local field office, so the fact that the FP appointment is scheduled at a different location from where the naturalization interview will be does not indicate that anything is amiss with the case.

In my case, I live in central Illinois and the office responsible for my area is the Chicago DO. My fingerprinting appointment was scheduled at Indianapolis, and that's where I did my FP. However, subsequently I had my interview in Chicago.

So do not worry about it. Go to Milwakee to have your FP done, as the FP letter says. Your interview appointment will be at St Paul.

ASC and DO are assigned by zip code. In some instances, they will be at different physical locations. For example, if you're in Lacrosse, WI your DO is in St-Paul,MI but ASC in in Milwaukee, WI, but if you're in Madison, WI both your DO and ASC are in Milwaukee.

That explains and am ready to drive up and down total of 420 plus miles.

Thanks
