Hi,

Lets use this thread for the September 2004 filers.

I-140 & I-485: RD 09/06/2004, ND 09/16/2004
FP Done on 10/15/2004
EAD on 11/22/2004
LUD changed on I-140 : 02/16/2005
 
According to the immigration watch website, NSC "only" received 685 I-140 applications in September, the lowest number for a single month 2004 so far (they haven't posted any #s for the following months).

NSC is very slow

NSC is very slow compared to TSC, CSC, VSC.
Appreciate if all guys belonging to Sept04 filing report here in this thread

But ur I485 will be pending till PD becomes Current

Even though u r not affected by the Retrogression, ur I485 will be pending till the PD becomes current as ur in EB3 category. U r lucky though since u filed before visa numbers expired ie before Dec 2004

Since I am not from India, China or the Philipines, my Visa date is current therefore I do not have to wait for any special date for my I-485.

Sep/Oct 04 filer

Filed in Sep'04 and got the receipt notices for 9/30/2004.
For some reason NSC pushed me to Oct by sending 2nd set of receipt notices with Oct dates couple of weeks later :mad: .

Interestingly, my I-140 receipt notice is LIN-04-225-xxxxx. I gave up trying to figure out my receipt date from the LIN#.
 
EB2 Retrogression Expected in FY2006

Guys I am in EB2, somewhat tensed as Retrogression is expected to occur in EB2 for nationals of mainland China and India starting sometime in fiscal year 2006 (October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006).

Also I applied EAD and I485 for my wife, she got EAD approved today,
just in a month.

Is it time to check if FBI name check is cleared?

Hi, my finger print result was received by NSC last year. Should I be worried about the name check? Should I ask FBI to see if it’s cleared now? Any suggestion?

Hi,

Just wanted to update everyone with a Sep-04 I-140 RFE.
My colleague just got an email for an I-140 RFE .
ND 15th Sept 04 from non-retrogressed country.
EB3 category.

Thanks for the update, maybe they are starting to look at several Sept 04 cases. I'm surprised how much progress the NSC has done in the past couple of weeks.

Hehe. Let's hope that's true.

It seems that most USCIS emails reach me after 6:30 pm central time. So every evening this week I've been checking my email at around 7 pm. Maybe today will be the day.

So it seems that we (september filers) should be active in checking USCIS site for LUD!
