I wish to start an additional group discussion in order to share our info pertaining to I 485 waiters with ND Sept 2000.This will help us the trend for the approvals. Your feed back is appreciated. My details as follows:

I called up NSC today. The IIO checked and told that my case is already delayed by three months but they cannot do anything until a case is delayed by six months or more. Told me to wait....

No RFE still waiting.Last week I spoke to Ilo,he said to call me back and check after 3 weeks if not approved.I understood from his talk that he realises thet it is really long wait and surprised why it has not been approved.He also told me that,didnt see any problem in my case.
Let me call him by jan 31 2002.......

Talked to IIO on Dec. 16. Asked me to check again after a month (standard reply we generally get from IIO).

Attorney is of no use. They give me the same info that the case was not assigned t5o an officer. I already know that and I want them to find the reason why it is delayed because they talk to an officer or a liason once a week regarding their pending cases.

RD Aug 2000 chicago area. I 140 approved from CSC

I\'m in same situation as rk2. Talked to IIO dec 18th said it is delayed and call back after a month. Attorney can\'t help much.
I have never approached a senator/local congress before. I\'m confused whether should I approach them or just call IIO one more time(I know i\'ll get standard reply to wait for another 30 days).

As I have already talked to IIO 4 times in last 3 months what else can I try? For all u guys who are in same boat have u approached senator/local congress? Does it help? Any negative side of that?

RD - 09/05/2000, ND - 09/21/2000. Still waiting...

My I485 Receipt date is Sep 05 2000 and the Notice date is Sep 21st 2000. I got the same respone as others in this forum did. Any idea on why this delay. I\'m hearing people with ND after us have got their approval. Any Info would be appreciated.

Hello arn 123, could U pl tell me from which INS Service center your I 140 was filed and approved, mine was filed/approved from NSC, but still my I 485 is still pending, my LIN# and ND matches with yours.
