September '04 Approval Letter Tracker

Same for me. I got the approval notice and it sayz to have photos showing right ear and right face. I need to go to stamping in San Diego. Any ideas?

I got the approval notice that the lawyer forwarded to my home address on Fri 9/17. I received my courtesy copy on Mon 9/20. I got stamped today 9/22 in San Jose.

The first officer who checks your documents, and the second officer who actually stamps the passport - both asked if I had frontal photos. I only took frontal photos, even though the approval notice still asks to get the old-style photos.

And a reminder, no cell phones are allowed inside the office.
 
Stamp experience

I got the approval letters from lawyer and got the stamp. The stamp is only for 6 months. I thought we get a one year stamp!!

Front photos were accepted. Yet to receive courtesy copies.

Question:

1. Did the approval message change after stamping? If so, when?

Had to wait for 90 minutes despite appointment at San Jose.
