Seperatation of primary/dependent cases. Similar experience?

My case was approved on Nov. 13 while my wife\'s case is still pending. I am the primary applicant. Talked to an IIO this morning and was told that somehow my wife\'s file was sperate from mine. The IIO refused to estimate how long my wife\'s case will get approved.

Primary applicant/dependent case are always approved together from all the approval postings I read in this board. I really get worried.

Anyone has similar experience? Please share the information, Thanks,

My wife has the same RD and ND, but her FP is two weeks earlier than mine.

You are fortunate if your wife\'s case is still in vsc. in my case, my wife\'s file was separated & transferred to local INS office at Newark for an interview. This happened on August 08, 2000 & still no sign of an interview.
But I have seen some other cases where the wife\'s approval came later on.
