Hello, I am a little confused and I am not sure what can happen to me.
My husband is a USC and I had gotten my 2 years conditional GC based on our marriage. We got married in April 2001, in Europe.
I entered US in July 2002 and recieved my conditional GC.
Two years had passed and we applied jointly for removal of the conditions on my GC-July 2004.
We separated in December 2004.So if we didn't separate it would be our fourth anniversary this year.We are not divorced. We don't have children.
I just recieved a request from INS to send more prove of bona fide marriage.
I still haven't let them know that we've been separated.I know I have to do that.
I do have some prove that we lived together- a house and appartment leases.
All our bills unfortunatelly have either his or mine name on them.
But the address is the same.We had only one joint credit card and that's it.
We fillled our taxes together.
We moved from one state to another and I do not have a comlete bank statements records from our previous bank.Just a few pages.
We did not have health insurance together.
I do have tons of picuters and a video from our wedding.
When we filed together i July I even sent sworn affidavits from friends and my husband's familly as a proof that we lived together.
I don't know what to mail to INS.What are my chances?

hi

in my experience I sent stuff like travel vacations that we took together, like a stub for the same plane or things like that, we didn't have too many things togheter because he owned everything he had so we change the car title to both of our names etc, in 4 years you have to have stuff like that, if you are not divorced yet, it maybe a chance for a reconciliation, so I would wait to declare you not together until is final. but I'm not a lawyer, maybe you should get a consultation with one.
