Separate filing for me and spouse

Hello Friends

Is it possible for me and my spouse to file GC (Green Card) seperatly, so that if any of us get laid off, one gets GC. I'm planning for my spouse H1 also.

Also Can she maintain her H4 status by not being added to Perm process?, if in case i dont go for her H1.

Please answer my queries. :confused:

You and your spouse can apply LC through PERM independently through same or different sponser. Applying LC does not matter with your H1 or H4 status.

PERM process is not a immigration process this is just labor certifiction/wage confirmation.

Do you know , to file a LC you no need to be in side US.
