EB2 is definatley slower than EB3. But on the plus side BCIS is equally inconsistent in provessing of both ... so you never know ...

I see that VSC is processing Sep'2002 for EB3 Category.

I also see posting where people have said / claimed their I-140 has been cleared who have filed in Feb'2003.

Can somebody shed some light on this??


Also: is there some consistency for the Finger Printing Notices? My I-140/I-485 was filed in Oct'2002 and I still haven't received a notice for Finger Printing? Should I be concerend?

Looking for some advise / responses.

I don't see any Sep approvals though I see that VSC is processing Sep'2002 for EB3 Category.

Hi guys,

Please answer if this is true: If the category is EB2 the EAC number startes from EAC-02-XXXXXX. If EB3, its should be EAC-03-xxxxx.

Mine was filed in category with Advanced professional degree (Ph.d) which should be EB2 but my receipt notice says EAC-03-xxxxx.

Any comments, please suggest if i am wrong
