sent I-765 for EAD card three weeks ago, haven't got any info!

Hi,
I filed my GC application in DEC. 24. but didn't file the I765 with it. then, I filed the I765 in early Feb. But I have not got any letter or information from them after three weeks. is that normal? coz I recall that I got the letters pretty soon after i filed the I130 and I485. Should I call to check the status? anyone has that experience? where can i find the number?

I too filed my GC application in Dec 07 and filed my I765 at the end of Jan 08. I received a separate NOA for the I765 within two weeks and had to go in for another biometrics appointment (code 2) for the EAD application in Feb, even though I had a code 3 biometrics done in late Jan for the 485 application. Did you track your I765 packet to see if they ever received it? It probably is a good idea to call them anyway just to be sure. I think the no: is 1-800-375-5283

I did have the tracking number showing they got the package. I guess I will call them to find out. man, it's a hassle.

yes, I did have the I 485 NOA copy with the application. but i only copied the front page. is that ok?
