Wooo, the whole process took 2 years as EB3-er. You are really lucky person. Wish more luck for you in the future.
 
Ric2, I agree...

It was a Roller Coaster ride. No complaints at all. I guess in my case Labor Dept, and INS decided to show some efficiency. :)My case is a proof that every one on this board will have their GC soon.

Luck does play an important role in one's life. Even though everyone is born equally, lucks in later life will make people unequal anyway. ahahahhaa

In my case also it was kind of strange:

Labor took 3 weeks for approval
I140 took six months and
I485 took 1 yr, 10 days

EB2
RD:8/9/01, ND:9/28/01
PD:10/12/2000.
FP was very late: 4/23/2002

But overall GC process took 1 yr. 10 months.

:cool: Cool, that was 2 full months faster than me. You get a Super Star.

We know tons of slow moving cases however, Does any one know faster case than DMA? Please exclude Age-out and EB1 (Non-Labor) cases.

A ray of hope for every one.....

PD Nov 2000, case approved on Sept 17th 2002

Labor took long time, because the salary on labor was less than market value, and came back with corrections to be made.

Labor approved in June 2001

I140 - filed on August 15th 2001 and approved on Oct 1st.I-140 was super fast - exactly 45 days

Filed I-485 very late in Feb 2002 RD 02/07, ND 02/25
Approved on Sept 17th - Thanks to Baltimore local office !

I assume my case to be quite lucky !

Moreover with job changes etc. I was with a different employer from Feb 2001 to Dec 2001.
