Can I send the N-400 appln to USCIS in one FEDEX package ( with two different envelopes in it for me and my wife ) or do I have to send it in two different FEDEX packages

Any opinions one way or the other ?

we mailed ours together in the same usps express mail envelope, We are lucky we got the same fp dates etc.. but there are others here that did not.

I guess there is no harm in sending them together, if you are lucky they might be processed around the same time

I did it that way i.e., send both the applications in one package. However, once USCIS receives your package, they will separate the applications and process them individually.

My wife and I sent our applications in the same USPS priority mail package with separate envelopes inside for each application. Our FPs, interview and oath were all scheduled for the same dates.
Good Luck!

As Rahul pointed out correctly, it's just sheer luck that both your cases
may/may not be processed by the same officer.

In our case, my spouse and I send the applications in the same envelope,
and I received even the FP notice about a month after my spouse received it.

So, there you go...Good luck !!!
