Hi, we are going to send out the I-130 and I-485 packages together on Monday to USCIS, but we still have not got affidavit letters from our supports, can we send the packages first then the letters later on? If so, how to do that?

Are you referring to I-864 Affidavit of Support, or affidavits written by people in support of your relationship?

If it's the I-864, you must send it with the I-485. But if you're talking about the relationship support letters, don't send those with the application. Bring them the interview, and only show them if you need to.

Jake, I refer to the affidavit letters support from our friend and family to support our marriage not I-864... so you are saying we don't even need to send those letters at all later on? I just think it would help the petition, no?

Those letters don't help much; USCIS does not easily believe them. They are last resorts to be used in the interview only if the other documents are insufficient. Don't send them with the application.

They prefer evidence which is harder to fabricate and easier to verify, like utility bills, insurance documents, bank statements, etc.

I also did not send in the letters but kept them with my bank statements, insurance , cable, and other proof so I could bring with me to the interview. So I would recommend you send the packet ASAP and keep them for the interview.
