self-sponsering on B2?

You guessed wrong. B-2 visas are self-sponsored. You don't have to send them anything

The above line was from a much earlier post. Anyone know if that is true that a B2 visa doesn't need a american sponsor.

Totally agree with you, but for some reason I have noticed that applicants from south asia think that every B-2 visitor needs to be sponsored!!!
