Here is my situation:
My company is sponsoring me for green card. I submitted my I-485 (through the company lawyer) to CSC based on EB-2 company-sponsored I-140. I\'ve received EAD, but haven\'t used it (currently on H1 with my company). The I-485 has been pending 3 months.
In the meantime, I recently got approval of a self-petitioned EB1-EA I-140.
Now, I want to change company (work in same field) using my self-petitioned I-140 while keeping my I-485 alive. In other words, I want to "substitute" the company-sponsored I-140 with my EB1 I-140. How can I do this? Assuming this can be done, can I use my EAD right away?
An alternate (but less desirable) method would be to withdraw my current I-485 and file a new I-485 based on my EB1 petition? Could I use the EAD I got with my initial I-485?
Thank you
