Self and spouse. N400. How to file ??

Need to file for me and my wife. Do we send both applications in one mail or separate ??. Why I'm asking is, is there anyway we make sure we both get FP/ID on the same date ??.

Is N400 processing same a GC where they processioning dates are in SYNC as the applications are tied to each other ??. Please let me know.

You can send both forms in the same envelope (two different sets - each containing the n-400 form, check, two photos and GC copy). you can clip them separately and place two sets in the same envelope and send. Both of you will get same PD, FP date and Interview dates (that's what has happened to most).
 
Also - even though both applications are treated separately (unlike GC), if you send them together, they will have same dates.

You can either use same or separate envelopes. Couples in this forum who have sent applications simultanously have usually gotten same prioty and FP date. When it comes to interview however, the date have usually been different, as name and background check lenght vary per person.

If background check is not complicated for either of the couple, then they will get the same day interview as in my case and some others. But the interview will be conducted separately (I can't same different times, because me and my wife have the interview at the same time).
 
I put mine and my wife's apps in 2 seperate covers and put those 2 in a big cover and mailed them. Seperate check for each application. We got FP, ineterview/oath and all other correspondance together.

Yes, it happens in most cases.
