I was trying to get a "no objection" letter from SSS that I was NOT required to register with them since I was on F-1 until I attained 26 years of age. It so happens that for a few month (that I was on a post-completion training period), I don't have any document as an evidence. Based on that they replied me back saying that I was required to register back then. I called them and they said until I can get an evidence that I was on PT during that time, they can't change the letter.
My question is is it worth fighting to get the letter corrected (by way of getting proper documents) or it should not be a big deal? Any thoughts?
