Selective service letter

Sorry I don't have any answer, but another question ...

I got my GC at 35. Before that, I was on H-1B, and visited US on various B1/B2 tourist/business visas since I was 13. My understanding is I don't need to register with Selective Service. And is it also true that I don't need anything at all from SSS?
What is needed by USCIS?

Thanks.

If you were on a valid non-immigrant visa when you were between the ages of 18 to 26 and have not gone out of status, then you don't need anything from SSS.

Thanks sunny808. I was definitely on valid non-immigrant visas. Is that proven by visas in my old passports?

This is usually addressed in the green card process, so if it wasn't an issue then it shouldn't be an issue now, but it helps if you can bring your old passports to your interview, at least for your peace of mind. Good luck, you should be fine.
