Hi everyone,

I applied for N400 1 month ago. I got a permanent resident card thought Lottery and came to the USA when I was 30 years old. I didn´t register with the selective service because that is for people between 18 to 25 years old.

The day I came to USA, I received a stamp in my passport seeing that I had been proccessed to I551 or permanent resident card, of course, including the date of entrance. After that I received a Welcome letter, but doesn´t say the date of entrance. It was about 10 days after I came.

well, according to sss.gov I don´t need a status information letter. What can I take to the interview??. Is it ok with the passport stamp that immigration putted me and letter??.

I have some problem one time to request info for federal loans. They required me to be register in selective service. Finally, I didn´t request anything.

Any advice appreciate it.
Thanks

Your GC will show your residence since date and the IO will figure out you weren't required to register. No additional letter or evidence is needed.
