Seeking H1B visa stamp after using AP once

I'm in H1B status and my AOS is filed. Recently I visited my home country and got married. My wife seeked H4 visa at US consulate over there and was refused on the ground of not having H1B visa stamp on my passport. I got into USA usng AP. I talked to the company lawyers and they suggested me to go back to my home country and seek H1B visa stamp at US consulate.
Is there any leagal complicacy of getting H1B visa stamp abroad as I enered USA using my AP. Please help me if there's any other way of having her H4. Help appreciated.
 
No legal complications. If you have an old H1 visa stamp you can revalidate it here in St.Louis and then send your passport to home country to get H4.
