Hi Rajiv ji, I am reaching out to seek guidance on a concerning situation. I am currently navigating the grace period.Given these circumstances, I am exploring the option of changing my status to either an B2 visa or F1 visa with day 1 CPT eligibility or an F2 visa. I have following questions:
1. If I change to b2 visa, in future if I ever get back in such situation, will I be able to again COS from H1 to B2?
2. If I change to f1 visa with day 1 CPT eligibility, what can be the impact later and chances of not getting rfe. Additionally, I'm curious to know whether I'll be able to travel to India in November and if I go to India on COS F1 do I have to do stamping.
3.My partner is on F1 visa, if I change to F2, my partner is currently awaiting approval for his STEM OPT. Is it possible to file for a change of status before his approval comes through. Can I travel to India and do I have to do stamping. What can be the possible impact in future.
