Security Clearance

Hi Everyone,

Being a naturalized US citizen, does anyone here applied a job for the US government agencies? One of the requirement is to have a "secret clearance" specially in the federal job level. Have anybody has an experience of getting such clearance? Is being a naturalized US citizen have a problem of getting it?

If memory serves correctly, you cannot get a security clearance on your own. Your employer needs to sponsor you for it, and pay for it.
