Since my PD is current with TSC, and it is more than 30 days since my I-485 is supposed to be processed by TSC, I wrote to my lawyer to find out about my status. When I talked to FBI at virginia, they said they sent the results of my biometrics (code 3) the very next day on 11/29/05. Since then no change in LUD.

The lawyer wrote back:

"Yes, name checks, and now 3 other background checks other than fingerprints have been invoked. Unfortunately, I cannot speed up these checks. Hang in there. I will check on your matter, but if the background checks are still outstanding, we must wait."

Does anyone know what could the 3 other background checks be and how to expedite each one of them?

How contact FBI

How do you guys contact FBI to check the status of name check ?
