Can we keep in touch with this thread for the forum members who have given the 485 interview but the officer didnt approve the case as they are still waiting for security check :

485 ND Sep 2001
RFE July 2002
Transfer to Arlington Feb 2003
Interview Nov 2003
Security Check ????
 
anyone here stuck with the security check ?? I cant believe its only me !!! There sure are more people who have this problem !!!

I really don't understand how this security check things work. A friend of mine just completed interview and got passport stamped on Nov 3 from Arlington. His file was transfered around June'02. Your file was also transfered long ago then why didn't they do security check earlier. Some people get stamped some people not, is this simply a luck! It is very frustraiting not getting stamped in the interview after a long waiting. Now a days security check takes a longer time.

Yudhister, This happens when you go for I-485 interview after the file has been transferred to local office from Vermont. During the interview they said, everything is fine except that they are waiting for Security Check...

I know its unbelivabling frustating and illogical. They had time from Feb 28th till now to do it, but they didnt. The officer said that now days they do it after the interview....

VA_transfer is stuck too in this since Aug end. Lets see whether desperate1, GeeceeSaga and you get lucky ...
