Security Check in Canada

I am from India. I went to Vancouver consulate for my H1-B1 stamping and they marked me for the security check because someone with a similar name has a police record. Could anyone please let me know how long it takes. As per US Consulate, it normally takes two weeks and they are going to call me after they are done with it.

Please share you experience if you had one.

Did they allow you to enter in US or asked to wait in canada only ?

IF you came abck to US .... Is it on Automatic revalidation( means your stamped visa was expired but not canceled + valid I 94) ?

No I am still in vacouver. i wss not f1 before h1-B. this was my first time h1-b stamping. i don't know if i can enter in US. i don't have my H1-b approval notice as vancouver consulate did not return me.
