Second time visitor visa extension

Hello folks,

Could you help answer my questions regarding extending visitor visa a second time -
1. The website http://www.immihelp.com/visas/extend.html states that if extension is denied you go out of status immediately. Is this true?
Can the person not stay in the country until the date on their I-94 that they applied with.
For ex. person's I-94 is valid until Feb 07, they extend and get approval to stay until May 07. Now they apply for extension a second time and get denied. Will they have to leave immediately or can they stay until May 07?
2. Does anyone have recent first hand experience or know from reliable sources about extending visitor visa a second time. What was the experience and the outcome? I would like to hear them..

If you have I 94 extended until May 07, you can stay until that date. Your second extention beyond May 07 only got denied
