Second letter - confused :-)

Hi,
First of all I would like to appologise if I asking something which is already asked but I carefaully go through all posts and I am still confused. Because of that it would be nice if someone could clarify to me some things.

1. My number is EU67XX. I still didn't receive a second letter. On the current Visa Buletin I find that cutoff number for January is 6800, which means that my number will be actual in January - am I right ?. Is that means that I am still in the "game" - I fitted in to limit of 50,000 people for the DV ?

2. Do I need to wait second letter or I can start some activities before that. Do I need to contact a local embassy or Kentacky office ?

3. Please, if you have any usefull link or documents which can give me an explanation of entire DV procedure it would be nice to give me a link or to send me a documents.

thanks a lot on the reply.

I think that I am doing CP (Consular Processing).

I will contact KCC.

What do you think that is best way to do it - by the phone or e-mail ?

email will take for them longer to reply and I dont think that they will give you such information by email
