Vietnamese citizentship married to USC, here originally on F1
Do at San Jose, Ca

I-485/I-130/I-765 concurrently filed
01/09/05 mail to USCIS office in San Jose
03/24/05 Biometrics taken
05/11/05 Interview Letter sent
05/26/05 Interview taken ---> FBI background check pending

No response after 18 months then
11/01/06 Second Biometrics letter and second interview appointment letter on 12/12/06

What is the reason for second interview, No idea!!!

Anyone have this experience? share please, thanks

I can't say why it took them so long. Something didn't go smooth. The reason you had to take bios again is because it was over a year ago that you took them so they will request them again. For the second interview, I can't really say except they had to do it all over again for some reason.

It seems like your Name Check has finally got cleared and they are doing second interview just to make sure you two are together before approving your case. I wouldn't mind any number of interview. It would atleast assure me that somebody is working on my case.

I think this is exactly correct. Good luck on the interview. Just make sure you prepare well as for the first and it should all go well. Best wishes
