just like in a subject finally some movement on our case, app is scheduled in two month from now, just received a letter - it will be exactly 3 years after our initial interview.. WOW, if the USCIS would do THEIR JOB on time, I would be like what applying for the citizenship next year???
oh well, anyways anyone here with experience second interview (they call it "follow up interview", but in reality I think it it "fraud interview", heh), whatever the hell it is too bad it is not in a week from now, then I would get my GC before summer comes in, and we could travel and celebrate it somewhere tropical and all that stuff...

any ideas what to expect? letter states to bring passport, photos for an alien card, etc, also asks for my wife to appear and all the common evidence, bla bla bla regular things.......

a month ago my wife was renewing driving license in the state of Florida (where we've always been living), and clerk rolled the monitor and show NY driving license with her name lastname and SSN. We reported that and are assuming that this was a major cause why our case was delayed so long - the USCIS obviously has an access to DMV records and it went off as a trigger that my wife may be living in NY (while I am in FL). Hovewer, why would USCIS not inform us about that and inquiry, simply ask or call us in earlier to clear this out, I have no idea.

anyone else can say anything regarding second interview?

Just curious... Why you didn't do INFOPASS? 3 years is just WAY too long... Anyway... I'd suggest to take all docs proving you've been living together all these years, pictures of you two, and income docs. Sorry, I'm not any other help, but wish you good luck!

Glad to hear your case is finally moving!
I'm wishing you good luck for the second interview, i am as well waiting for a date for a second interview (initial interview was feb 09, infopass may 09, lady at infopass was able to tell us that interviewer decision was a 2nd interview, but no date yet).
From what i ve heard and read, the second interview consists in separated interviews, and they ask both of you the same questions about your daily life and the answer have to match. That's all I know about it so far.
I attached to this post a list of questions that I found a little while ago.

who told you I didnt do infopass? we have almost 50 of them (one each month) printed out since we were inquiring every month at least once. different answers were given, two attorneys got involved, congressmen inquiries, etc nothing was helping, couple weeks ago I have sent an outlined and notorized 5-pages document outliining everything that happen to us for last couple years, and telling the uscis and dhs that I will be filing WOM within 30 days if nothing on file happens --- I guess thats my answer - I am happy too bad they wont do it like tomorrow. BTW: what is the use to get ppl on the interview together and to show "evidence" if they give you out 2 months in advance.. that's A LOT of time to prepare whatever is needed to be prepared!!

anyhow,

Identity theft? Or was she actually living in NY years ago with a NY license?

my spouse is from NY but she has been living with me constantly in FL since 2005. It is a fraud, somebody from her old school used to use her SSN couple times we already had problems getting our tax returns, but since you cannot change SSN in this country (at least it is very difficult), there is nothing we can do.

but the USCIS should have inquiry and interview us long time ago, if this is really an issue that keeps our case pending, not waiting 3 years.

will see in July
