Just wanted to keep everyone updated about our case and upcoming second interview. We talked to a lawyer who seems really experienced and he said we should be able to get the greencard without changing our living situation right now ( my husband lives in SF 30 minutes away and I'm a live in Nanny ).
My husband is going to Korea in August for about 4 months and his company would fly me out (if I get this damn thing ) to see him. I can't believe how much evidence we collected and we hope that they all gonna be looked at.
Besides that, we had to write down when, how long, where we have sex and we got tons of refrences from friends, landloards and family. I'm still scared about the fact that we don't live together. Pretty much everyone said we have to move together but we didn't have time since the 2nd Interview came up so fast, the lease of my husband is til August and now since he is going to Korea he wouldn't be here anyways.
So here a list of what we have:
Car title in both of our names
Car insurance
Health (medical, dental, vision ) insurance,
Life insurance (me as benificiary, because I have to have the greencard first to get life insurance )
Bank account statements (checking, CD )
100000000 pictures
Phone bills for the last 1.5 years that I call him on his workphone everyday (sometimes to outragous times )
Refrence letters from his roommates, landloard, friends, our moms, the family I'm working for
His passport which shows that he came to visit me in Germany
R.E.I. membership with prove that I bought my bike on his account, and we got gift certificate from his mom for christmas and bought sleeping bags
Our rental agreement, ski lease, rental car when we went to Tahoe in February 2006 (+pics)
And lots of little stuff...still I'm scared they could deny it just because we don't live together right now. WISH ME LUCK!!! And thanks for reading!
I post as soon as I get out of the Interview, but if I get the greencard you'll hear me scream from happiness!
On Thursday our lawyer scheduled a mock interview with us...hope it will prepare us even more
