Second FP

My initial fingerprinting was in March 2002. I got an RFE in June, before First FP expired.

I sent the RFE Documents on Sept 3rd (JI Waiver and subsequent status extensions) and have not recieved any news after that.

Will I have to go through 2nd Fingerprinting, even though RFE was sent before?

Also, how long does it take after RFE to get some movement?

Most people receive FP2

But since you received RFE, your case has been touched. So, it depends now on the officer.

FP2 is independent of RFE

Depends on the officer, whether they decide to get a new FP or not.

Not to disappoint you but I have seen some cases in this forum where fp was generated after rfe was sent.

If RFE has been generated and received, and if FP is expired at that point, most of them get FP2.

It's only some cases that get approved after FP1 expiry[w/o RFE]
