Hello

I received a letter from INS regarding the second FP for Aug 8th.
Can we get the FP done earlier than Aug 8th.We need to go to
New Rochelle,NY for FP.

It is better to go before the appointment date to get your 2nd FP done. Each office is different. So check with your office or it wouldn't hurt if you try going there.
 
Yes. You can go to New Rochelle for early FP. They are open on Saturday also. I did my first FP earlier than the scheduled date. My friend vijayrc did early second FP last week.

I did my first and second FP at New Rochelle, NY..
Both times it was Early FP's.
Just go over there, [not immediately after they open], and if you don't much crowd, just walkin and show your FP letter,[don't say you are there for early FP] and hope things would go well..
GOOD LUCK to get over 2ndFP Chapter and 'Still Waiting" chapter.

chapter11 when did you receive the notice for your 2nd FP. I did my first FP on 8th April and VSC received the info on 10th April. Therefore, my FP should expire by 10th July. I am trying to understand if they immediately generate the 2nd FP notice.
 
chapter 11, since you're Nov RD and you got second FP notice, I would guess your case is very much likely "okay" and "approved pending fp" by the officer.
