Second FP notice - how long does it take?

I read from immi_2003 posting that it took about 2 weeks to get the second notice.

My FP were rejected for being "unclassifiable" for the first time on Nov 4th. The lady at the ASC said it would be a couple of weeks before I can hear back from the CIS. It has been over 5 weeks now and still nothing.

Please share any experience & which service center you processed or suggestion you may have.

How did you find out that your FP was unclassifiable?

Why cant you just go the FP office and try to redo FP again.

If you call the FBI, they will tell you. I do not have the phone # offhand. Let me know if you need it

I called the CSC emergency number today. The officer was very helpful, she first checked and said my FP's are good and done. Then she checked and said Name Check from FBI is not yet done and they are waiting for this.

I emaild and faxed the name check status lines today. Hope they get this done soon !

Have you recieved your FP notice? Also if possible could you please share the FBI number that you called for checking the FP status. Thanks.
